Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix was the Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix served as an ordinand in Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix's talent for athletics was evident from the moment she began attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. After her first audition, she placed among the top two athletes at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, for 200 meters in just 10 weeks. Felix completed high school and subsequently signed an agreement for Adidas. In the year 2004, she began her studies at the University of Southern California, which is where she studied elementary education. Felix's first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. Felix set the world junior record by sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. She was the youngest world athlete to win the 200 meters at the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix competed at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and has consistently ranked in the top three of athletes in her respective events.
